Terms of Service
Last updated 31 October 2026
Draft: company details are still being added to this document.
Please read these Terms before using Tascimo. By creating a workspace or using the Service, you agree to them.
1. The agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of Tascimo: the web application at app.tascimo.com, the Tascimo desktop app and the Tascimo API (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided by:
TODO: Company legal name (e.g. Tascimo LLC)
TODO: Registered address, USA
TODO: State of formation and registration / EIN
Email: privacy@tascimo.com
The Terms form an agreement between us and the organisation that creates a Tascimo workspace (the “Customer”). The person who accepts these Terms for the Customer confirms that they are authorised to do so. The Service is intended for business use; the Customer is not a consumer.
Our Data Processing Agreement forms part of these Terms and applies to personal data we process for the Customer. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data as a controller.
2. Workspaces and accounts
- The Customer’s administrators invite users, assign roles and decide which features, including tracking, are used.
- Each user needs their own account. Keep sign-in details confidential and tell us at once about any unauthorised use.
- The Customer is responsible for what its users do in the Service and for keeping its list of users and roles up to date.
3. Time and activity tracking
The Tascimo desktop app can record work time, application and website use, keyboard and mouse activity (not the keys pressed) and screenshots, as described in our Privacy Policy. If the Customer uses these features, the Customer:
- decides whom to track and how, and is responsible for having a lawful basis for it;
- informs the people tracked about the scope, purpose and method of tracking before it starts, as employment and data protection law requires;
- uses the data only for lawful purposes and limits access to it to people who need it.
4. Acceptable use
The Customer and its users must not:
- use the Service to break the law or to monitor anyone covertly or without the information the law requires;
- upload unlawful content, malware or content that infringes others’ rights;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other workspaces or our systems, or interfere with their operation;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service, except where the law allows it;
- use the API in a way that overloads the Service or bypasses its limits.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules or puts the Service or other customers at risk. Where we can, we will warn the Customer first.
5. Customer data
The Customer keeps all rights to the data it and its users put into the Service or collect with it (“Customer Data”). The Customer gives us the permission we need to host, process and display Customer Data in order to provide the Service, as set out in the DPA.
The Customer is responsible for the lawfulness of Customer Data and for having the right to share it with us.
6. Fees
Plans, prices and what each plan includes are shown on our pricing page. Paid plans are charged per active user, excluding guests, for each monthly or yearly period, in advance, and renew automatically until cancelled. Taxes are added where they apply.
New workspaces start with a free trial. Workspaces that existed before paid plans were introduced receive an extended launch trial. Cancelling, refunds and failed payments are covered by our Refund Policy.
We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. A new price applies from the Customer’s next billing period.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve and change the Service; if we remove a significant feature, we will tell the Customer in advance where reasonably possible.
8. Our intellectual property
Tascimo, its software, design and brand remain our property. We grant the Customer and its users a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while these Terms are in force. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the Service without obligation.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability under these Terms in any 12 months is limited to the fees the Customer paid us in that period, or USD 100 if no fees were paid.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending the agreement
The Customer can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to close its workspace by writing to hello@tascimo.com. We may end the agreement with 30 days’ notice, or at once if the Customer seriously breaches these Terms.
After the agreement ends, we delete or return Customer Data as described in the DPA.
11. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of TODO: the State of formation (e.g. Delaware), USA. Disputes will be settled by TODO: the state and federal courts of that State. We will always try to resolve a problem by talking to you first.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will tell Customer admins about significant changes at least 30 days before they take effect. If the Customer does not agree, it may stop using the Service before the change applies.
